Independent Shakespeare Co. is hosting a special event on Tuesday, August 9 entitled Shakespeare’s Songbook, a unique evening of Renaissance music played on authentic instruments. Craig Woods is joined by other artists passionate about the music and musicianship of Shakespeare’s time. Performances are intermixed with commentary about the instruments and the songs.
The event will be held at 7:00 pm in the ISC Studio, Atwater Crossing Arts and Innovation Complex, 3191 Casitas Ave. Suite 161, Atwater Village 90039. Admission is FREE but donations are gratefully accepted. Reservations are required. Email the box office at boxoffice@iscla.org.
