Win Opening Night Tickets to TWELFTH NIGHT!

The Mechanicals Theatre Group is preparing to open its latest production, Twelfth Night on Friday, December 2nd and here’s how you can win a pair of tickets to the opening night performance. Just go to Facebook and “Like” our Shakespeare in LA Page. Then Monday at NOON, return to the page and answer a simple question about the play. If you’re the first correct answer, you win! You’ll also be invited to the opening night party at The Steingarten Beer Garden, to meet and party with the cast and company.

The Mechanicals’ will present a pared down, bare bones, actor-centered modern adaptation of the story that will immerse the audience in the festive exuberance of Shakespeare’s play. Equating Elizabethan royalty with Hollywood celebrity, the production will contemporize many aspects of the play, while maintaining a focus on the intricate beauty of the text. It is directed by Finn Wittrock (Broadway’s Death of a Salesman) and Richard Gilbert-Hill (All My Children and Grey’s Anatomy).

The cast includes company members Doug Bilitch, Emily Clark, Emerson Collins, Paul Eiding, Rafael Goldstein, Connor Kelly-Eiding, Pat Lentz, Sal Neslusan, Lonni Silverman, Mouchette van Helsdingen, and Peter Wittrock, along with Christina Lind and Rob Atchinson.

Performances will take place Dec. 2 – 18 at Pico Playhouse in West Los Angeles, located at 10508 W Pico Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90064. Twelfth Night is the 4th and final production of the 2011-2012 production season presented by Jacob Harvey and Eric Bilitch, Co-Artistic Directors and Producers of The Mechanicals Theatre Group.
