On September 29, 2012, 78 members of the Los Angeles community came together for The Global Theatre Project’s happening in Lafayette Park, Rapping on the Tempest. The event was inspired by Prospero’s speech from The Tempest and performed in collaboration with the Heart of Los Angeles Youth, culminating in a screening at the first Shakespeare on Film Festival at Stratford Upon Avon.
