The Old Globe will hold Equity Principal auditions for its 2013 Summer Shakespeare Festival on December 7 and 10. The season includes Merchant of Venice and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead (both directed by Adrian Noble), and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (director TBA). Roles will be understudied. San Francisco Shakespeare Festival is holding auditions for Macbeth on Monday, December 10 at Lamplighters, 469 Bryant St., San Francisco, CA 94107. They are seeking 5 Equity Actors. Some roles will likely be doubled with others. Prepare one dramatic Shakespeare monologue. A second contrasting Shakespeare piece may be requested. First Rehearsal is May 28, 2013.
