The Old Globe
The Los Angeles AEA audition date for The Old Globe’s 2013 Summer Shakespeare Festival will be February 15, 2013. Please submit your photo & resume by 2/14/13 to casting@theoldglobe.org to be considered for self-submission for the Los Angeles auditions. Shows performed in rotating rep include The Merchant of Venice, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. First rehearsal is April 23. The season opens June 23 and runs through September 29, 2013. Each actor will be in all three (or in some cases two) plays. Tracks and roles are subject to change. All roles are understudied. Actors will perform up to 6 times per week (no matinees). All actors must have extensive experience with performing Shakespeare. Theatricum Botanicum
Theatricum Botanicum will hold auditions in March for its Summer 2013 Season, which includes Shakespeare’s The Taming Of The Shrew and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. They are seeking all roles; alternates and understudies EMC points and internships are available. Please prepare a 1-3 minute Shakespearean monologue and bring a headshot and resume. All auditions and callbacks take place on the main stage theatre at 1419 N. Topanga Canyon Blvd., Topanga, CA 90290.
