Shakespeare in the Vines
Auditions for Shakespeare in the Vines’ 2013 season will be held by appointment only on March 29 and 30 at The Ballet Studio, 41581 Date Street, Murrieta, CA 92462. Callbacks will be held on March 30 beginning at 6pm. The season includes The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), The History of King Henry IV, Pts 1 & 2, and The Taming of the Shrew. Prepare a monologue up to 2 minutes, or you may do one comic and one serious monologue not to exceed 3 minutes. Shakespeare by the Sea
Shakespeare by the Sea is now accepting submissions for All’s Well That Ends Well (opens June 6) directed by Patrick Vest, and King John (opens June 13) directed by Stephanie Coltrin. Both shows will play in repertory through August 10, 2013. There is some pay. Rehearsals are at Little Fish Theatre in San Pedro. Performances run Thu, Fri & Sat at Point Fermin Park in San Pedro through June 29th, then touring to various locales throughout LA and Orange Counties before returning to Point Fermin. Submit digital shots and resumes by Wednesday April 3, 2012 to shakespearecasting@gmail.com. Due to the overwhelming response each year, they will contact those they are interested in auditioning to schedule an audition appointment. The 2013 audition dates are Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7. Please prepare a one minute Shakespeare monologue and bring two hard copies of your headshot and resume.
