East L.A. Classic Theatre
East L.A. Classic Theatre is looking to cast two roles in Mariachi Much Ado About Nothing: Benedick (a gentleman in Don Pedro’s army and friend of Claudio, 25-35, Baritone), and Claudio (a war hero in Don Pedro’s army, 20-30, 1st or 2nd Tenor). AEA auditions will be held on May 10th from 9:30 am – 5:30 pm at Pueblo del Sol Community Service Center, 1300 Plaza del Sol, Los Angeles, CA 90033. First rehearsal is May 13 and there will be 3 morning student performances on May 21, 23 & 24. All performances and some rehearsals will be held at the Cocoanut Grove Theater, located on the campus of RFK Community Schools (701 S. Catalina Street, Los Angeles, CA 90005) and some rehearsals will be held at Pueblo del Sol Community Service Center. Most rehearsals will take place weekday afternoons/evenings. Central Coast Shakespeare Festival
Central Coast Shakespeare Festival will hold auditions for their summer production of Love’s Labours Lost on Sunday, May 12, 2013 from 1:30 – 5:00 pm in the City/County Library Conference Room – SLO, 995 Palm Street in San Luis Obispo. No appointment is necessary. Prepare a two minutes or less classical monologue. Auditions will also include cold readings from the play. Rehearsals take place in Arroyo Grande and performances are presented in the Outdoor Amphitheatre at the River Oaks Hot Springs located at 800 Clubhouse Drive in Paso Robles. http://centralcoastshakespeare.org/
