Cal State Northridge Students Present MACBETH

The students at Cal State Northridge will present a unique adaptation of Macbeth, directed and edited by Christine Menzies February 13 – 22, 2015 at Nordhoff Hall Little Theatre. In Shakespeare’s bloody classic, a rehearsal for the “Scottish Play” is possessed by four witches with dire results.

The cast includes Kristopher Dowling as Macbeth and Amanda Williams as Lady Macbeth with Johnny Sauceda (King Duncan), Israel Valdivia (Malcolm), Brian Felker (Donalbain/Caithness), Ben Blonigan (Banquo), Avery Rodriguez (Macduff), Robert Stroud (Ross), Arturo Arcos (Angus), Diego Arias (Doctor), Cambria Falk (Lady Macduff), Jordan Murphy (Fleance/Gentlewoman), Nozomi Sakaguchi and Samantha Cassidy (Sons of Macduff), Alexander Olsen (Seyton/Soldier), Ryan Lisman (Lennox), and Angelina Finau, Heather Mermelstein, Jennifer Linares, and Destiny Vickers (Asst. Stage Managers/ Witches).

There will be a post-show Q&A on Wednesday 2/18 and an ASL performance on Friday Feb 20. Following its public performances, the production will continue in March with school-day matinees for local secondary schools.
