Shakespeare in LA

As the world celebrates the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare’s birth/death, HitFix also honors the Bard with a video project featuring 7 Hollywood actors: Liev Schreiber, Henry Czerny, Maggie Grace, Fran Kranz, Erick Chavarria, Lynn Collins, and Jim Beaver, all talking about the impact Shakespeare had on their acting. You’ll also hear them read selections such as Schreiber’s passage from Macbeth, Czerny’s “Queen Mab” speech, Kranz’s string of insults from King Lear and Grace reading Shakespeare’s greatest love poem, Sonnet 116.
