Thanks much for your effort. This is a great site.
The On Stage list is good, but what do you think of a calendar, with months ahead open and filled as known? Each company’s performances could be assigned brief codes, so at a glance we could see everything upcoming and plan ahead half a year at a time. This could be helpful for many.
The chance to see nearly any play usually sounds attractive, but most of us can’t attend every night. Rather, don’t we work in the shows we can, and try to see those special to us before they close, but still find that we’ve made our choices not in a systematic fashion but case by case, as we learn of their coming or remember their approaching ends?
I also work with students, and it takes a while to get them ready to appreciate a performance. Since I have to schedule so far ahead, we sometimes miss out on shows that we learn about too late, especially during the summer.
I’m not the programmer to do the necessary computer coding, but I wouldn’t mind helping with the plotting of the info on paper. I’ve already begun working on a June-July-August schedule of free outdoor performances.

Hi Ed,
Thanks for your comment, and yes, a listing further out would be valuable. I am working on an additional page that will list shows for the year by theater, with performance dates. It won’t be in calendar format for now because of the plug-in limitations of WordPress but it will give a heads up further in advance of what will be coming. I hope you’ll find it helpful!

SHAKESPEARE YOUTH FESTIVAL, L.A. LAUNCHES ON APRIL 5th!
Country’s Youngest Shakespeare Troupe expands to Four Plays
The Shakespeare Youth Festival of Los Angeles (SYFLA) presents its Spring Season, featuring FREE performances of The Tempest, at Club Fais Do Do, 5253 West Adams Ave, and Midsummer Night’s Dream, Two Gentlemen of Verona, and Richard III at the Lyric Theatre at 520 N. La Brea. Noted as the “youngest Shakespeare Troupe in the United States,” the Drama Club has been performing full productions of the Bard’s plays since 2004. Ten years later, the L.A. Drama Club is a thriving non-profit organization, with more than 100 young people, ages 6 to 18, from across the city, “growing up with the Bard.”
SYFLA launches April 5th & 6th with The Tempest, followed by Midsummer Night’s Dream on April 12th & 13th. Richard III & Two Gentlemen of Verona will run in rep May 3rd & 4th and May 10th & 11th. Complete details can be found at http://www.losangelesdramaclub.com
