Independent Shakespeare Co. Announces Special Guests for Vaudeville in the Park

ISC Vaudeville 2014

Independent Shakespeare Co. has announced an expanded lineup for Vaudeville in the Park this Sunday, May 4., which will now include actors Erik Palladino (NCIS: LA, U-571, ER, 666 Park Ave.) and Missi Pyle (The Artist, Charlie & the Chocolate Factory and David Fincher’s upcoming Gone Girl). Says Managing Director David Melville, “It’s fun to be working with these actors. Erik Palladino is known to audiences with his work on one-hour dramas but he grew up wanting to be Abbott & Costello! He’s having a great time finding himself in the Vaudeville milieu. And we are fortunate to have Missi Pyle who is as accomplished a singer as she is a film and stage actress.”

And in what is sure to be a memorable moment for all of his constituents, L.A. City Councilmember Tom LaBonge will join headliner Dr. Pinch and the Pinchtones for an Elvis song! (Dr. Pinch is a minor character from The Comedy of Errors who found a new lease in life after performing at Independent Shakespeare Co.’s Griffith Park Free Shakespeare Festival in 2012.)  More
