Santa Clarita Shakespeare Festival opens The Tragedy of Macbeth

The Santa Clarita Shakespeare Festival opens The Tragedy of Macbeth, directed by Mark McQuown this Saturday July 14 in its new home in Towsley Canyon Park. The production will run Saturdays and Sundays through July 29. All performances are free and begin at 8pm. Audiences are encouraged to bring a blanket, a picnic and enjoy a beautiful night under the stars. Wine is available for patrons at the venue. If you arrive early you can also catch the pre-show, Hamburger Hamlet, an original script by Sarah Oh, directed by Dominic Marcucilli and performed by the Festival’s High School Apprentice Company. For more information, visit www.scshakespearefest.org.
