Rogue Artists Ensemble is seeking one exuberant physical performer to join the cast of HYPERBOLE: bard! The show is an outdoor 45-minute family-friendly performance that recreates a collection of Shakespeare’s most famous scenes through clowning, masked movement, puppets, and original music. Auditions will take place Wed/Thurs June 5 – 6 by appointment only.
Rehearsals for the cast and creation of the final project will take place both at the Annenberg Beach House and at the Rogue space at LA Mart in Downtown LA beginning the week of Monday June 10, with rehearsals scheduled Mon-Wed-Thurs 6:30 – 10:30 pm and Sat 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.
Previews will take place in Culver City on Saturday June 29 at 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Regular performances will take place at the Annenberg Beach House in Santa Monica at 4:30 pm, July 9 – 12 and July 17 – 19. Additional Performances are July 23 at USC, July 25 at CalArts, and July 27 – 28 in West Hollywood park. This is a non-equity production. Cast members will be paid $300.
